01 Statement of Non-Applicability
Halo & Vice Media Group LLC does not produce, create, publish, host, or distribute any visual depiction of actual sexually explicit conduct as that term is defined in 18 U.S.C. § 2256(2)(A) and 28 C.F.R. § 75.1.
Because Halo & Vice Media Group LLC is not a "producer" — whether a primary producer or a secondary producer — of any such depiction within the meaning of 28 C.F.R. § 75.1(c), the recordkeeping requirements of 18 U.S.C. § 2257 and 18 U.S.C. § 2257A do not apply to this entity or to this website.
All content appearing on this website consists solely of original corporate copy, brand design elements, and licensed or stock photographic imagery that contains no sexually explicit conduct.
02 Nature of Our Business
Halo & Vice Media Group LLC is a talent management and digital growth marketing firm. Our services consist of business management, marketing strategy, advertising operations, search and content strategy, and back-office administration provided to independent creators who operate their own businesses.
In performing these services, Halo & Vice:
- Does not film, photograph, record, digitize, or otherwise create any depiction of sexually explicit conduct;
- Does not direct, manage, or supervise the creation of any such depiction;
- Does not select, assemble, or curate any such depiction for publication;
- Does not host, upload, transmit, or serve any such depiction on any server or platform it owns or controls;
- Does not operate any consumer-facing platform on which such content is made available.
This website is a corporate informational site. It permits no user uploads and contains no user-generated content.
03 Independent Responsibility of Managed Creators
Creators who engage Halo & Vice for management or marketing services remain independent business operators. They retain full ownership of and control over their own content, platforms, and publishing decisions.
Accordingly, each creator is solely and independently responsible for:
- Determining whether 18 U.S.C. § 2257 or § 2257A applies to their own content and activities;
- Creating, maintaining, and securing all records required of a producer, including copies of valid government-issued photographic identification for every performer;
- Verifying and documenting that every performer depicted was at least 18 years of age at the time of creation;
- Posting any required compliance statement and custodian-of-records notice on their own platforms;
- Designating a custodian of records and making records available for inspection as required by law.
Halo & Vice does not act as custodian of records for any creator, does not hold performer identification documents on any creator's behalf, and does not assume any producer obligation by virtue of providing management or marketing services.
Nothing in this statement, and nothing in any service agreement with Halo & Vice, transfers a creator's statutory recordkeeping obligations to Halo & Vice.
04 Age Verification in Our Engagements
As a condition of engagement, Halo & Vice requires that every creator we represent be at least 18 years of age, and we may require valid government-issued photographic identification to confirm this before entering into any agreement. We do not knowingly provide services to any person under 18, and we will terminate any engagement immediately upon learning that this requirement has been breached.
This verification is a condition of our own contracting practice. It is not, and should not be construed as, the performance of a producer's recordkeeping obligation under § 2257.
05 Zero Tolerance
Halo & Vice Media Group LLC maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse material, non-consensual content, content depicting minors in any sexualized context, and human trafficking in any form. We will terminate any engagement immediately and without refund, and will report to appropriate law enforcement authorities, upon becoming aware of any such material or conduct.
