Halo & Vice Media Group LLC ("Halo & Vice," "we," "us") is a talent management and digital growth marketing firm. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and in the course of providing our services, how we use it, and the choices available to you.
01 Information We Collect
Information you provide directly
When you submit a roster application or otherwise contact us, we collect the information you choose to give us. This typically includes:
- Name and email address
- Links to your public profiles, websites, or platforms
- Self-reported revenue range and business goals
- Any additional information included in your message
If we enter into a service agreement with you, we may additionally collect information necessary to perform those services, including business banking details for invoicing, tax identification information, and contract documentation.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we may collect standard technical information when you visit, including IP address, browser type and version, device type, referring page, pages viewed, and timestamps. This is used in aggregate to understand site performance and traffic patterns.
Information we do not collect
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. We do not collect or process sexually explicit material through this website. We do not purchase personal data from third-party brokers.
02 How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
- Review and respond to roster applications and general inquiries
- Provide, administer, and invoice for our management and marketing services
- Communicate with you about your engagement, including operational and account matters
- Maintain business records and comply with tax, accounting, and other legal obligations
- Understand and improve site performance
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security incidents
We do not sell personal information. We do not use application submissions to build marketing lists, and we do not send unsolicited promotional email to applicants who are not accepted.
03 Third-Party Sharing
We share personal information only as necessary to operate our business, and only with parties bound by confidentiality obligations. Categories of recipients include:
- Payment processors and financial institutions — to issue and receive payment for services
- Email and communication providers — to deliver and store correspondence
- Accounting, bookkeeping, and tax professionals — to meet financial reporting obligations
- Legal counsel — where necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims
- Analytics providers — where used, limited to aggregate site usage data
We may also disclose information where required by law, subpoena, court order, or other valid legal process, or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
In the event of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of business assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice before information becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy.
04 Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy.
- Unsuccessful applications — retained up to twelve (12) months, then deleted, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- Active client records — retained for the duration of the engagement.
- Financial and contractual records — retained for the period required by applicable tax and corporate recordkeeping law, typically seven (7) years after the engagement ends.
- General correspondence — retained as long as needed for the matter it concerns.
05 Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Request that we not sell or share your information (note: we do not sell personal information)
- Receive your information in a portable format
To exercise any of these rights, email management@haloandvice.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law, and in any case will acknowledge your request promptly. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Some information may be retained after a deletion request where we have a legal obligation or a legitimate business need to keep it — for example, completed financial records.
06 Cookies & Tracking
This site uses only what is necessary for it to function and, where enabled, basic analytics to measure traffic. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels, or third-party behavioral advertising networks on this site.
Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Doing so will not prevent you from using this site. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we honor it where legally required.
07 Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
08 Confidentiality of Talent Information
We treat the identity, business details, and financial information of the creators we represent as confidential. We do not publish client names, testimonials, likenesses, or performance data on this website or in marketing materials without express written permission.
09 Children's Privacy
This website and our services are intended solely for individuals aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us immediately.
